Briefly, some of my Python 3000 thoughts. I see quite a bit of enthusiasm in some other blogs. I'm not very enthusiastic. While I understand the need to be able to break backwards compatibility, I am worried about Python forking into two parallel versions (2.x and 3.x) for many, many years.
