The Experience of Maxing Out One’s Cognitive Horsepower

Time for some Math Academy storytime about the funniest username of all time.

Almost everybody who pursues serious math eventually reaches a level at which there’s just not enough scaffolding to justify continuing.

A question I’m getting more and more is “will the Math Academy programming courses be based on the classes you taught in the original school program?”

It’s amazing how many people turn out to enjoy math (or any other hard thing) when the tasks they’re asked to do are properly calibrated to their current level of skill.

I know the capabilities of modern AI might make you feel insecure if you’re at the novice stage of any skill or line of work. Like anything you learn how to do, AI will soon do better.
