I read a lot of Wikipedia. Doesn’t everyone? I like to look at pictures, especially of rare things, historical things, and illustrations of abstract mathematical concepts.
My favorite time of day changed from 4:44 to 3:59. This might just be seasonal.
I claim to not play very many video games, but apparently that is not true because I not only played some games last year, but beat 29 of them! When I say “beat”, I mean I got to a credits screen. I did not complete any of these games. I also put significant time into a few games that I did not beat for whatever reason; hopefully they make it...
Last March, I released my first experiment in post-centralized social media called “Likes”. The idea was simple: an image you can click to leave a Like on the page:
I needed a way to redirect charm.catskull.net to an absolute URL path such as https://subdomain.site.com/path/to/page/index.html. I am a DNS noob and was surprised to learn this isn’t possible through DNS alone. You can set a CNAME record to point the subdomain to another (sub)domain, but it’s not an arbitrary URL value. I don’t know why.

I was recently asked to help resolve an escalation at work. It had already bounced around between a few people, and was very muddied with conflicting reports not to mention frustration that the issue existed in the first place. Apparently I am insane, because I like situations like this.
